former King of Hungary who brought christianity to Hungary....was reading about him, and then read this paragraph whose last paragraph pissed me off, as it's pretty insulting to gays. Although I am glad we get the main streets......and the single most important Hungarian Saint gets side streets.

"Since 1990, August 20 is once again St. Stephen's Day in Hungary. The most important events in Budapest take place around the Basilica. This is where the procession of the Holy Right Hand starts: at the front the relic of St. Stephen's right hand is carried, followed by thousands of Christians and non-Christians alike. Unfortunately, this march is only allowed to proceed on some side streets, while the pagan members of the Gay Pride Parade and the Love Parade can march in all their “glory” on the main avenues of the city."

Does that say Homosexuals = Pagans? Weird.

The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.
