It seems like this happens twice a year.

I just buy the forever stamps. Can't keep track otherwise with all the constant increases.

This actually happens once a year. The government struck a deal with the USPS a couple years ago which allows them to raise the price of postage once a year now. So it's going to go up, probably a penny, every year now.

I just sent out thank you cards for my graduation gifts so that is one thing I needed stamps for.

My dad uses them all the time to send out a reminder for unpaid bills; he's a dentist.

My mom just bought 1000 forever stamps, although, that could only last us 3 or 4 months.

Stamps you can use forever at the same price you bought them for no matter what the current postal rate is

Hence the name "Forever "stamps

Oh, I'm so glad that they automatically gave me forever stamps when I last bought a book. Otherwise I would have just put useless stamps on the bills I'm putting in the mailbox tomorrow morning.

I bought a few books of Forever stamps last week. There are still a couple bills I can't pay online, and I Iike to send regular cards out once in a while.
