Hello Friends,
Well, we're back from our vacation and a fun time was had by all! In a phrase,
We had an absolute ball!
Together with our friends Morris and Jaci Reid, we took a dream vacation to the
French and Italian Riviera in August 2004.
We started our adventure by flying to Nice, France from New York and then taking
a helicopter from Nice over the sea to the party town of St. Tropez!
First stop: St. Tropez and the Hotel Byblos. Great hotel, the best late night club
sandwich on the planet and the best nightclub on the Cote d'Azur...Les Cave du Roy!
Al was the “star” of the show with his new hairstyle!
Another helicopter right and our next stop is Monaco...the playground of the rich
and famous. The great Hotel de Paris is our temporary "home" and what
a fabulous home it is! This was our great dining adventure. The “Vistamar” at
Hotel Hermitage and a grand dinner at the best restaurant in the world: Le Louis
XV...Alain Ducasse's signature restaurant in Monte-Carlo.
Next, we're on to Capri. Al liked this best of all. A suite at the Grand Hotel
Quisisana overlooking the pool and the Mediterranean sea, dinner at Da Paolino (the
locals call it the "Lemon Tree" restaurant) and late night strolls in
the town square. Romance was definitely in the air and we didn't want to leave.
Check out the photos at and the fun www.starandal.com in the "Photo Album"!
Star & Al
P.S. Al and Morris returned to NY after Capri...but Jaci and Star continued the
adventure for two more weeks. Be sure to check out the photos from Star’s last
hurrah as a single girl through Europe...coming soon!

Posted: 8/31/04 at 11:44amI am in reality going to Monaco in the Spring. It's so good to know what to pack. I'll stay away from the white satin however, it's so unforgiving. I must know where Jaci picked up that fabulous floral creation.

helicopters, luxury hotels, expensive restaurants... honey, you're place is california.
The europe you are visiting it's a theme park for american rich people.
There is no romance in the air there. Only 100$ bills.

"P.S. Al and Morris returned to NY after Capri...but Jaci and Star continued the

Do you think that there will be pictures of Al and Morris' New York adventures?

You're right son, my message was for mammamia.
and it's not overlaped from another thread. I posted my response before the "thank you mamma mia" thread.
and why didn't fit the thread purpose?
this is not an "european adventure", an european adventure is crossing italy in a bicycle, or something like this.
being drunked in a luxury hotel can be done in florida.
and since this is the off-topic thread I have the right to tell what I think about this post.

Hey everybody, I'm working on some ad copy for this place. What do you think of this tagline:
BroadwayWorld: A home for the dangerously unhinged.
