Yes! It's getting really good. I actually considered sending in a tape b/c I fit into one of the categories listed on their site (they're broad). The exposure would definitely help with one of my goals, but detract from the overall goal of completing my Ph.D. I don't think my husband would be too thrilled with the idea either. Oh well... I'll just keep watching!

Yes!

If they renew for another season (I hope to finish in May) and the product of my dissertation is not sold and/or marketable on its own, I will definitely send in a tape.

It's pretty different b/c my university has a program where students can combine fields of study. Mine combines industrial engineering, biomedical engineering, broadcasting, biology and communication studies. The dissertation attempts to develop a method to optimize the presentation of scientific material. It has been a really interesting journey and I think I'm finally finding my niche.....I hope!

Although I was not fond of her, it seemed as if she needed more help than any of them. However, she never seemed open to any ideas of changing and improving herself, except for her weight.....

I do not think she will come back.
