I'm moving to uni tomorrow . I'm 17 and live in the UK. The problem is I've been reading that freshers week is all about partying but I'm too young to get into club/pubs or even the uni bar because my date of birth will be on my student card. I have also noticed from friends etc. that most people are 18-19 when they start. Does anyone have any experience of uni life? Will I be able to find new friends ?? Thanks in advance
where are you going to school? i'm not familiar with the UK...

you'll definetely make new friends. If not through classes, then just get involved in clubs/student organizations.
yeah i agree, everybody is looking for friends in college... as long as you are open to socialization you'll be fine... as to clubs, i don't know how it works in the UK, but in US cities, in my experience, they are pretty strict with checking ids and age minimums... but don't worry, there will be a time when you can go clubbing!
Aw, you call it University! That's so cute. I love the UK.

that's good. Just do the activities once the clubs start and don't be afraid to approach someone new. Remember, well at least w/ the freshmen, no one really knows anyone.
