A GREAT SHOW!:
"Yesterday's tipster -- who said Tony Kornheiser was the next fill-in host for MSNBC's morning mix -- was wrong.
Stephanie Miller is hosting Monday through Wednesday of next week.
Miller is the "host of The Stephanie Miller Show, a liberal talk radio program produced in Los Angeles." Her show usually airs from 9am to noon ET..."

Posted: 4/29/07 at 9:27pmgood idea. bring her on for 3 days, she says something outrageous, riles up the right and msnbc gets a buttload of publicity with no real downside since she's only there for 3 days.

Namo I believe she is on 9 AM to noon East Coast Time. She's on 8 to 11 here in the Midwest. I listen to her every morning on my local Air America station and LOVE LOVE LOVE her!
She does make fun of Republican's names (which I normally condemn) but the first time I heard her refer to "Drug Addled Gasbag (Rush Limbaugh)" I laughed so hard Diet Coke came out my nose.
I would love to see her in the national spotlight!

Apparently the host for the next two days will be Tucker Carlson.
No idea what Stephanie's ratings were.
A number of people will be filling in the next few weeks including Larry Elder. I also heard that Randi Rhodes will do a stint.

Allow me to say first how much I love Stephanie Miller and her show. However, I never understood the appeal of watching a radio show on TV. I can grasp the concept of attending a live radio show as a member of the audience. (I was in one for the Al Franken Show a couple years ago and it was great fun.)
My impressions were that Jim does a weird thing with his tongue after he makes a joke, a thing that I have seen lots of old ladies do. Chris, well, whatever. I hope he has a happy life, but watching him was right up there with the paint drying. And Mama herself? I say this with love, but she very seriously looks like Varla Jean Merman's older, thinner sister and I kept wanting to push those bangs out of her eyes.
I enjoy her show better without the visuals.
