Man, I listen EVERY morning- but today reception was so bad I turned her off even though she'd teased "a big announcement" coming up! Shoot!

Her show is just about the funniest political radio show ever. She gives Daily Show a run for it's money!

I'm almost as sick of "open secrets" as I am of closeted hypocrites.

I always liked her show, but she deserves at least some of the same criticism Rosie O'Donnell got for her crush on Tom Cruise. More, actually, because unlike Rosie, Stephanie never explicitly stated that her crushes "weren't a sexual thing."

Oh hell, I have all kinds of guy crushes, many of whom aren't completely non-sexual. lol Of course, I admit that I hang out around 4 or 4.5 on the Kinsey scale. Maybe Stephanie does, too.

Point taken, and I love Steph. I just think it's not even going to be mentioned because Stephanie is the acceptable kind of lesbian (femme) and Rosie is not (butchbutchBUTCH).

Very true. She used to openly flirt with men on that horrible, "I've Got A Secret" show. Now we all know what it is. lol

Yeah Steph said she debated as coming out as "bi" as she has had relations with men but felt "gay" was a more accurate handle. And as a listener I can say she's made cracks about motorboating Randi Rhodes about as often as she's talked about sleeping with Hal Sparks. (Although apparently she was literally sleeping with Hal Sparks while he was staying at her house in LA.)

I had a huge crush on her when she had her late night TV show in the late 1980's. Those short skirts! Those legs!

You know, she came out to her listeners when she was ready, but had been out to her family and friends for years.

Whether you agree or disagree with her timing, I am just glad she has now shared that part of her private life with her listeners, and is one more known celebrity who feels comfortable enough to come out of the closet to the public.

Progressive talk show host. In LA she is on during morning drive.

She is also the daughter of Bill Miller, who ran for VP with Goldwater.

She is on CNN often as the "liberal" voice on panels.
