SOMMS...you mean to Florida? - hell - I'll sing to anyone in Florida! as a matter of fact - there's this historic piano bar in the city we'll be visiting where I used to sing for the hell of it 20 years ago - and the pianist is still there - she's sort of a local version of Blossom Dearie...and she's amazing. I want to introduce her to joeyjoe!

It's a historic old home in Ft. Myers Florida (west coast, just above Naples and Sanibel Island) It's called The Verandah...and her name is Lila

KMF - my mother lives in Ft. Myers - which is why we will be there at Christmas. I lived there through most of the '80s until I moved to NYC. Its a nice little town and has become the number one in growth in the country, I believe...

I am sure that is true -- when my parents built their house in Naples, say 10 years ago it was pretty "open space" -- my Mom passed away 5 years agao and the growth in that time was huge -- I was in the area about 6 months agao and could not believe the growth in the past few years.....
