Dame...give our Addy time...who ever did this is a vicious person because Addy was never anything but Sweet and Kind to EVERYONE on this board..she was even kind to Rodney..which we all know is difficult. I don't understand how this happens to the most adored person on this board.

Because there are some stupid, evil people out there. But we shouldn't be scarey cats. We should just know that and prceed to enjoy ourselves with caution. Just be smart about it. I miss Addy. She was so nice and a pleasure.

Dame, I don't think I ever had an online interaction with NYAdgal even once. After the first couple of pages I never even looked at the first adult smoking thread, which is, I think where she became beloved by many, some of whom have met her in real true life and vouch for her fabulosity. Including many people *I* love from interactions in other threads, so if she's fab enough for them, then she's probably really fab.

But the poor kid. I have this vision of her checking in and reading the myriad "come out, come out wherever you are" threads and feeling not unlike the way Idina must feel when she hears about performing arts camp children PRAYING to her before a performance.

If she has checked in at all, she must know that people want her to come back. If she hasn't, she's taking a real break. Breaks are sometimes just the perfect tonic.

Personally, I'm sorry that there was a link established in the online collective imagination between the exits of she and Matt (but not Princeton, why am I the only one who cares about Princeton?!?), but that's the way the threads developed.

I'm a firm believer of letting people leave when they need to, and letting (most) of them know they'll be welcomed back if and when they want or need to do that, too. (Gosh, that's sort of like Harvey Fierstein's dedication at the beginning of The International Stud from Torch Song Trilogy!)

another addy fan here. My "real" life has been crazy as of late. Now that I finally have some time to be back here among some wonderful people, only to find out that a truly lovely lady is no longer here. Makes me quite sad. Addy if you are readinding this I MISS YOU!!
