strange things you've seen while riding public transporation

Once, I was sitting in an airport that also had a train station in it (I think it was in Germany), and I saw a very normal-looking businessman who looked like he might be Korean calmly walk into the waiting room, drop his brief case, and start dancing wildly (to no music). Some guards had to tell him to stop, but as soon as they left, he started again. When I got on the train, he was on there, still dancing.

On my flight home from the trip, there was also a very tall and fairly buff teenage boy wearing girls' white jeans, a pink v-necked sweater, and girl's jewelry riding the train and chatting happily with his parents and little sisters. (They were Swedish.) He was a little bizarre-looking, but I guess it was sweet how his family accepted him so readily.

Riding the train on your flight home? What airline were you on?
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

There's a train that we took to get from the airport to our hotel, or the other way around... looking back at my post, that makes next to no sense, haha. But yeah, when I arrived in the airport IN Germany, I saw the dancing Korean guy, and then when I went BACK to the airport a couple weeks later so I could go back to my house, I saw the Swedish family.

I saw someone reading a book that wasn't in the TWILIGHT series.

I saw a guy I work with.

Yeah, doesn't sound too weird. Except for the endless coincidences this poor guy and I suffer from. We were born in the same hospital, went to school right over the road from each other, and grew up less than five miles apart from each other. And yet, we never met until we independently moved to the opposite side of the country. And then I saw him on the underground in London, over 100 miles away from where we both lived at the time (this is England, 100 miles is a long way). And what are the odds we'd both be on the same line, on the same train, in the same carriage, at the same time? It was pretty freakin' bizarre. But kinda cool. :3

Weez, that reminds me of an incident that happened when I sat next to this boy scout troop going from Albany to Philadelphia. My family was going to Orlando and I had no idea that one random middle of the week trip to Disney World's MGM Studios that I would see that same boy scout troop wave at my waiting in line for the Movie Ride. I have to disclose the fact I never saw this boy scout troop on my flight from Philly to Orlando. It was a bit surreal.

I think last night counts, and is better than my story about the guy getting the subway stopped because he was pulling up his shirt.

I went to use the restroom on a NJ Transit train last night, and I will never do it again. There ended up being some weird guy outside of it, who didn't seem to get the concept of a locked door and the occupied light being on. He kept banging on the door. Once I got out, he proceeded to tell me of something gross he needed to do in there. And of course, he got off at my stop. I walked past him on the train platform, and he told me how he couldn't hold his coffee cup easily because of his leopard print gloves. And as I walked to my car, I heard him just randomly talking out loud to nobody. He walked to the parking lot by walking next to the track, which you aren't supposed to do and climbed down the ledge. I have no idea where he went, but it wasn't to a car, and as soon as I got to mine, I locked the doors.

Marianne2, I always honk my horn when approaching my car late at night at the train station. I don't know if it actually does any good but I just feel a little better doing it. Even though the parking garage is well lit, is filled with cameras, and is perfectly safe I still feel the need to honk my horn using my remote, glance under the car, and check the backseat before I get in. And I always lock my doors before I start the car. Just those habits you get into I guess. The owners of my company also own the garage so I know it's okay. Yeah, I do check the backseat, usually. But, my car doesn't have power locks, so I can't press a panic button. I'm just glad that permit parking isn't a majority there anymore. They put pay meters in all the lots, instead of having to park by a parking meter. Now I notice the closer lots have free spaces, so I don't have to walk to the furthest one anymore.

The Queen of England (Thank goodness Obama gave her that ipod full of his speeches to keep her entertained).

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Goth, even though you're joking here, we all know how you value accuracy in matters like this.

The iPod contained not Obama's speeches, but "footage of her state visit to the US in May 2007," according to the Daily Telegraph.
