Is anyone as excited as I am about this movie coming out? With celebs like Natasha Richardson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ian Holm and Justin Theroux in it, this is going to be frickin' hilarious!

She's so frickin hilarious.
Can't wait for this.

Sean Martin, I'm actually watching that episode right now.

I never saw that one.
Technically, I was never "allowed" to watch Strangers with Candy.
That was back in the days when my parents forbade us from turning on Comedy Central at all.
They're still freaked out by South Park and Reno 911.
I did sneak a couple of episodes, though.
And never was there a more disturbing show than the glory that was Strangers with Candy.
Marc! I smell a musical!

The only thing my parents forbid me to watch when I was growing up was porn. Anything else was fine with them.
I guess that explains a lot.

Posted: 7/17/04 at 1:06pmYeah. I was pretty restricted. I wasn't allowed MTV or VH1 until sophomore year. Kind of sad, I think.

My parents are UBER-strict.
I wasn't even allowed to watch some of the stuff on Nickelodeon.
Married with Children? Nuh-uh
Ren & Stimpy? No way.
Roseanne? Only with proper supervision.

Posted: 7/17/04 at 2:31pmI feel your pain. I was allowed to watch one PG-13 movie before I was 13: Mrs. Doubtfire. The only R movie I was allowed to watch before I was 17 was Good Will Hunting. I wasn't allowed to watch The Simpsons. And last week my dad confiscated my rented copy of Y Tu Mama Tambien. I'm a 19-year-old soon-to-be college sophmore. Updated On: 7/17/04 at 02:31 PM

Yay!
My parents STILL don't like me watching R movies.
I'm a 19-going-on-20-year-old soon-to-be college junior!

Posted: 7/17/04 at 3:02pmI saw my first R-rated movie at the theatre on Tuesday. I saw Kill Bill Vol.2 at a dollar theatre. 50 cent Tuesdays. I love it!

My first (and only, so far) R-rated movie in a theatre was "Don't Say a Word".
It could have easily been PG-13, if you ask me.

I love Amy Sedaris, and Dave Letterman does too. His company is producing the movie.
I love David Sedaris too. The only thing better than reading his stories is hearing him read them himself. Thank God for Books on Tape!
