It was announced today that Meryl Streep will be playing Travis Bickle in a remake of the 1970s movie "Taxi Driver".
Streep held a press conference to say "If Helen Mirren can play men's roles, why can't an American actress?"
When contacted for her thoughts, Cybill Shepherd said "I am hoping they will consider me for the role of Betsy. There are levels that I wasn't able to reach in the original."
Jodie Foster was unavailable for comment.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
