"Stritch Has Refinement"
Since when?
As Stockard Channing said when she chose Elaine to present her the Julie Harris Lifetime Achievement Award, "I just wanted to hear what the F*CK she would say!"
And she, nor no one else, expected 'refinement'.
Was more making a play on the clip, not a political statement.

I got that Mildred.
But, since the clip isn't showing up, I ran with the title as presented.
But I would be interested in the clip . . .
That's odd, the link disappeared.

Thank you!!!
The reputation isn't built on sand, is it?
WOW!!! You'd think after all these years she would cease to amaze...BUT NO!
Her well of talent never runs dry. Amazing.

Oh, BFB, I bet 'dryness' has crossed her mind, once or twice.
But never on stage.
Q, are you Bea Arthur?
Thank you Mildred, I needed that.
I haven't seen that in over thirty years. I fell in love with the song and Elaine Stritch then and there.
I've been searching for the sheet music for that song for years. If anyone has a copy, send me a PM.
And that show! I would adore to have it on tape or DVD. So many great moments and performers: Elisabeth Welch singing the pluperfect "Ten Cents a Dance" Why doesn't PBS show those again instead of Wayne Dwyer and Dr. Phil!
