Hi guys!!!
I just registered. I'm a little bit confused. I want to study musical theater. I just graduated from Marketing Comunication department but my dream is to become a musical theater performer. Does anyone of you know good programs either BFA or MFA? I'm an international student and i want mainly to go to New York or Boston in order to be close to any school that offers seminars or workshops. I heard that there are also some private schools that are good......any idea????

Try the Boston Conservatory. They have a BFA or MFA program in Musical Theatre.
NYU Steinhardt School of Education also has a musical theatre program.
You could also try Philadelphia or Chicago. Both of those have thriving theatre communities and I am positive that University of the Arts in Philadelphia has a musical theatre program and there are many schools just outside Philly that have great programs as well.
Good Luck in your search!

Anyone know any Musical Theatre studies/programs/whatever that are near the Maine border? I live in Canada, but I live quite close to the Maine border so I'd be able to get their easier. And I also appreciate the list you came up with Christine. I may look into some of those too. (Of course, my talent to get in such a thing is questionable... xD)

Well, there is this famous one in British Columbia, but it's very very far away. It would be easier to go to NYC than there. XD I am just afraid I wouldn't be able to afford an apartment.
