During our production of Little Shop Of Horrors, last year.
The person who played Audrey 2 broke his arm and wasn't able to go into his coustume (which was a box) So they had ME sit there in the box and pretend to sing his part (he was signing) so everything was going fine except for the 5th graders who were laughing at me because they weren't used to a girl dressed up in a box and talking like a man. Ok... everything going fine... blah blah blah. Then all of a sudden the guy who's singing has a coughing attack and i'm freaking out. I had no idea what to do, so I walk offstage and trip on a wire and fall on one of my sides, and can't get back up.
I'm never doing that again.

Posted: 8/26/06 at 3:00pmIn third grade I was playing the lead street urchin in A Christmas Carol and I had to do a quick change back stage. After the change I had to get to the other side of the stage, but there was no space to cross behind so I ran across during a scene change, but there is a chest on stage that the ghost of christmas past hides in for a scene, and I tripped over it and fell flat on my back. (I flipped over as I was going over the chest.) But the entire audience heard a big thwack and then two different groans from me and the girl playing christmas past. I just got up and ran to my spot, but people were asking me about that bang for months afterwards.

My school was doing this play called "Bobbin and The Travellers".
I was a last minute replacement for The Pied Piper and I was really nervous because I wasn't totally comfortable with the part.
Well, there was this one scene where I had to tie up these two kids so they could be bait for the witch in the story. The chairs that they had to be tied up in were behind this big sheet of wood that was painted to look like a tree. So I went behind there to get the chairs but I nearly knocked over half the set. I was so afraid that it was all going to fall. I was thanking God that the set hadn't fallen, because I never would have forgiven myself.

During a dress rehearsal for our production of Smile, after the big Act One finale number when we were scattered around the stage and were supposed to take a few steps back for the curtain to close behind us, i forgot to move back and the curtain closed right behind me... leaving me alone onstage... i hauled ass offstage and squeezed imbetween the curtain and proscenium wall

Posted: 10/19/07 at 5:33pmI had to run across a bridge carrying a basket with food in it, including a loaf of bread. I got to the top of the bridge, the bread fell out, I grabbed it, put it back into the basket, dropped it again, and then just held onto it and ran offstage.

Posted: 10/19/07 at 5:51pmI was playig Horton in Seussical. I was sitting up in the tree during the storm, right after Mayzie had given me her egg. I'm singing, and I totally mess up the lyrics. I sang the lyrcs to a song that comes at the end of the show. Luckily, it all rhymed so no one knew the difference, unless they knew the show (but the CD is so different from the script the probably still wouldn't know.) Well the Act ends shortly after that anyways, so I went to the green room during intermission, and told the stage manager and the other cast members my mistake. All of the sudden the girl playig the Cat in the Hat comes running down. "JP! Your mic is still on!" So even though I covered it well, everyone knew by the end. E!

Posted: 10/20/07 at 11:47amLets see...in Hans Brinker I roller skated off the stage. In Beauty and the Beast I fell and one of the other wolves stepped on my head. In Charlie Brown I rolled off my dog house in the middle of someone elses scene. In Little Women I totally flashed the audience during a fight scene. I'm pretty sure I flashed the audience several times when I played Audrey in Little Shop because all my dresses were SO short. Pretty much every show I've done I've either fallen off something or flashed someone... Maybe they just shouldn't put me onstage anymore.
