I have a basic understanding of Dreamweaver (I'm using CS4), but I want to have a more thorough knowledge of creating websites on the program. Reading online tutorials or watching Dreamweaver videos isn't getting me to where I would like to be.
I've been looking for online training and there is so much out there. Does anyone have a link or company that provides one-on-one Dreamweaver training through the computer: where the instructor can connect to your computer and actually see what you're doing and help you out that way? Thanks for any suggestions.

I was going to suggest lynda.com, but I dunno if they have interactive instructors.

You may have to go the classroom route, but it's so much more expensive than utilizing lynda.com or the other ones I've seen.

Heck, maybe you can find a private tutor--CL or at a school.

Good luck!

Depends on how advanced you want it. Simple ones are easy to teach yourself through trial and error.

Honestly, I Think the For Dummies books are invaluable tools. I skimmed two for Photoshop Cs2 and went to work, referring back to the books whenever I found myself stuck in a corner. They aren't as "hands on" as video tutorials, but I've always been pleased with them.

If you have a bit of money, tons of community colleges teach Dreamweaver/web design classes, though obviously their levels of sophistication will vary. Not as cheap as a book, obviously, but it gives you more structure if you have a hard time self-motivating.

What worked best for me was a book from the library and trial-and-error. However, I recommend you find a recent book, because I trained myself on table-based web design, as opposed to CSS. It's hard to ditch those tables...
