Hi..I'm looking for summer theatre or music camps that are not based at a university. I went to one a few years ago and that's at a college I don't really want. They have to be either on the east coast or west coast. I've been looking at:
French Woods
http://www.frenchwoods.com/
Camp Broadway
http://www.campbroadway.com/
Camp Electric Youth

If you know of any of these, please let me know. Thanks!

Loveee Camp Broadway :) I went there in 2005 for the Master Class, it was the greatest five days of my summer... I had such a good time. I don't know about it now, but it was right in Chelsea where I went in the same building where they actually have real auditions- so that was cool. It was a really long day I think 8-5, but it was worth it because we spent the whole day singing acting and dancing. I'd definitely recommend it.
I know some people who went to French Woods and liked it. The Camp Electric Youth sounds great espeically with Debbie Gibson and Marissa Jaret Winokur teaching. I don't know of many/any theatre summer camps on the west coast besides Electric Youth which I think is in Los Angeles.
My partner's little sister is dying to go to Electric Youth. She can't wait to see Marissa and Eden Espinosa! Anybody else on here applying?
Did anyone go to the Camp Electric Youth scholarship auditions in LA last week? They are awarding full scholarships to some students. Or I uess I could just upload mine on YouTube.
The camp sounds great and to get to study with Marissa Jaret Winokur would be an amazing summer. How many times does a Tony winner teach at a summer camp?
