TheatreDiva- always love reading your posts so I looked at your profile to learn more about you. I see you do costuming- how cool! I know I talk about my kids a lot in my posts but I have to let you know, my 12yo daughter wants to be a triple threat but she also wants to learn costuming. She goes to a performing arts school and next year she will get an entire year of a costume design class. Do you know of any good summer programs for teens to learn this craft? Any good websites? She loves Project Runway and her goal is to be able to make her own clothes by using dress forms, not patterns. Also saw the pictures of you and Bruce as Edna. We just saw the commercial for Hairspray and my daughter said she was mad that Bruce was not in the movie- she thinks he is very funny. Anyway, thanks for your time. Don't mean to get so personal but you are the only person "I know" who does this work that I could readily ask questions.

While it is a white heterosexual male world, and I am only two out of three of those things, it is true that there is a certain amount of privlege that comes with that and I try to be aware of it and not exploit others.

What does that have to do with your rent?
