Syrup smell back???

I am feeling like that syrupy smell is back in the air? Anyone agree with me? Or am I going nuts (or had a few too many birthday cocktails!)

On Irving Park Road in Chicago there was a flavor factory and it was funny to smell butterscotch.

One of the towns I used to live in had a cookie factory in it. That smelled pretty nice, too.

When I was a kid in Omaha we could smell the Falstaff brewery and the stockyards.
