i love the book!
It was quite a letdown. No footage of the actual movie. A big tease!

Yeah, disappointing. But I think it'll make a good movie.
Am i the only person in the world who hasn't read this book?
yes.
I'm worried about the movie; I'm not sure how Tom Hanks will be, I don't think he's right for the part.
I thought of Harrison Ford. But he's too old.
Wow, I guess I'm going to have to rethink my living situation of underneath a rock apparently because I had no idea they were going to make a movie of this.
Book was so intricate, they will probaly massacre the storyline and then everyone will commend them for their artistic vision. This reminds me of the thoroughly entertaining and imaginative book "timeline" made into a mind numblying nonsensical movie.
Having said this I do plan on going into this openminded because I really would love a great movie of this entertaining if nothing else novel

No actual footage because they have not yet started filming!
I have been meaning to read the book, but I've never gotten around to it
In new Da Vinci Code news, contrary to reports that Christopher Eccleston (i.e. the newest "Dr. Who") was going to play Silas (and my personal choice), the role is now confirmed to be played by Paul Bettany.
Even before knowing who Chris Eccleston was, his physical features were really similar to what I pictured Silas to look like while I was reading the book. Paul Bettany's too much of a pretty boy, even though he's got the acting chops. (Which Chris Eccleston does too.)
Bummer. Tom Hanks as Langdon, no Sophie Marceau as Sophie, and now this? *headdesk*
Oh, Emcee, did I tell you about my little pilgrimage to the different sites in the book while I was in Europe?
