that was one of the most atrocious and disturbing things I have ever seen.

p.s the blond wig has to go!!!

Wow that guy needs to choose whether or not he wants to sing that song in the regular octave or an octave lower... But that should be the least of his worries....

I don't think that Galinda really knew the song that well.
If Percy Blakeney were in Les Mis....

Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)

I seriously thought the guy in the wig was a girl at first.

LMAO!

Awww, the guy who sang Elphie put a disclaimer about his voice in the description.

How...cute?

re: THE FUNNIEST DEFYING GRAVITY I'VE SEEN

...umm... a bit disturbing...

how fun though!

...and amen to Mr. Elphie in desperate need of picking and staying with an octave! (personally I say the lower one sounds WAY better!!!)

...but ya... wow...

oh! and... just wondering... WHERE THE CRAP DID YOU JUST RANDOMLY FIND THIS?!?!?!

lol

re: THE FUNNIEST DEFYING GRAVITY I'VE SEEN

yeah, I thought the guy in the wig was a girl too.

How do people think of this stuff, out of boredom, passion? what brings about this kind of disturbing behavior?

I love how he pulls out all the Shoshana riffs and then, in the last note, changes octaves for a third time. *laughs*
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

YouTube (a wonderful website, by the way) is full of weird videos like that. If you're ever bored, do a search on Rent, or Wicked, or any other popular Broadway show...and, oh lordy, the things you'll see...

re: THE FUNNIEST DEFYING GRAVITY I'VE SEEN

Haha I was definitely just going to say that he has to have heard Shoshana's version because the riffs are nearly all the same!

I swear, with my eyes closed, I'de think it was Kristy Cates, if he added some more vibrato..
