http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrj_bc2Xy9s Honestly, I don't understand how even McCain supporters could disagree that... that night was something we might never see again in our life times. No matter how Republican a person may be, they've GOT to respect that fact that what Obama did- the fact that sparked THAT kind of unity and pride in this country again- IS historic, and it IS unbelievably inspiring.
It's expected, and NEEDED, for people to come together over tragedy, like 9/11 or Hurricane Katrina. But for that kind of emotion, joy, hope, and pride to come from something GOOD? From the ability of ONE man to inspire? That's.. I don't even know how to describe it. It's beyond words. It's magical.
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
