Little things can make a big difference. Enough of them can truly change the world.
A genuine smile is a little thing, and requires almost no effort. Yet it can make a big difference to the person who receives it.
A small kindness or word of encouragement is a little thing. Yet just think of how much brighter your outlook would be if you were to give or receive several each day.
Little things can quickly combine together to have a big impact. And little things are within the reach of anyone who decides to make them happen.
Even the most magnificent achievements are the result of lots of little efforts and small successes, all working in the same direction. Big, valuable and substantial things are created when you're committed to getting all the necessary little things done.
As each moment goes by, fill it with positive, productive, and joyful little things. They'll soon add up to something big.
jj... I think that your daily motovation posts have become almost like a morning meditation. thanks!
I am alert to new beginnings. I open my heart to bless the "hello" that comes to me uninvited and unexpected. I bring to my world a child's openness to new companions. I allow myself to be met. In the face of new beginnings, I practice curiosity and expansion. I embrace risk and I open to play. Mine is a festive heart. I do not allow old songs and old ideas to become the only melodies I will listen to. I practice a listening heart. I am attentive to the pipings of small adventures. Even in the face of haste, even in the light of past experience, I entertain optimism, allow enthusiasm, encourage care. My heart is resilient and expansive. I cherish all that I have and welcome my ability to care still further for all that yet is offered me.
thanks, Mom... here's a little something else to think on...
