TV Stars Perform "Side by Side by Sondheim"
for Annual Alzheimer's Benefit, "A Night at Sardi's"
WHAT: The Alzheimer's Association's 13th annual "A Night at Sardi's" celebrity fundraiser and awards dinner. Stars will perform selections from the acclaimed Broadway revue "Side by Side by Sondheim."

Award Recipients
•Laurie Burrows Grad will receive the Elsa Rose Fabares Award. Grad created "A Night at Sardi's" to honor the memory of her father, the late playwright/director Abe Burrows. Serving as its chair for 12 years, she has seen Sardi's raise more than $11 million to fight Alzheimer's.
•Julie Meisner Eagle will receive the Caregiver Award. Eagle directed and produced the MSNBC documentary, Alzheimer's: My Mom, Our Journey, which chronicles her mother's life journey with Alzheimer's.
•CBS-TV's "Without A Trace" will receive the Abe Burrows Entertainment Award for heightening awareness of Alzheimer's through a father/son storyline, powerfully and realistically played by Martin Landau and Anthony LaPaglia.
Event co-chairs are Peter Grad and Susan Dietz.
Dietz is also producer. Musical director is Harold Wheeler.
WHY: Proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association in Los Angeles (www.alzla.org). In 2004, Sardi's featured selections from "Grease" and raised $1.2 million.
