Tampa, FL.....and the gay authors controversy at the library

here we go again, West Gate Branch Library in Tampa Florida has caved into a few bigoted patrons complaints and removed, then brought back MUCH smaller and much harder to find, a display of gay authors, themes and characters for Gay pride Month. Literature, banned in a library........ridiculous.

read about it here

http://tampatrib.com/MGB89AUFQ9E.html

then, PLEASE email Hillsborough County's chief librarian, Jean Peters and let her know how WRONG this is.

Libraries give information, they do not BAN it....nor do they move it to where someone can hardly find it.....

The librarys comment section is:

This is posted on their site, and available to all so I am not providing anything private. Make sure to include her name and the name of the branch library in the comments section.

Thanks

Can I join in with the digging? Part of me likes getting dirty.

halleluah!

This friggin country is regressing.
What the fvck is goin on these days?
Is this the country I live in?
A country taught to hate, segregate and pre-judge...
This really turns my stomach...
I'm seriously thinking about taking up some causes
I've never really gotten involved in the political scheme of things
But sh!t like this is turning me into one militant homo....
