Genuine question: do left-leaning folks ever walk off shows because they're asked about things they've said and positions they've taken?

I'm not aware of any, but has it happened?

She's doing an awful job at damage control. She claims all Piers anted to talk about was sex. Not true. I watched the interview and that is simply not true.

If this were true why didn't she give this this as her reason? Notice she went on a FOX channel to do her damage control. She is a filthy liar and I hope Piers responds and calls her out.

Clearly its ABC,Barbra Walters and the entire liberal media working against poor Christine. She's the victim here and everyone is against her/the Tea Party.I am so sick of these cry babies who speak out against gays but when confronted they get defensive and nervous. Only place they feel safe is FOX NEWS. Lets not forget Sarah Palin did not do one Sunday Morning Talk show while campaigning as Vice President.She was interviewed by Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson and she bombed big time. She showed the world how stupid she was yet she blamed Couric,Gibson, and the liberal media.

Why would ANYONE want such a coward who can't even take responsibility for their answers as a President? If Bachman or Perry get the GOP Nomination,just you wait. They will appear ONLY ON FOX and no where else.

Christine O'Donnell is crazy like a fox. Look what this situation gives her: She will now be (already is) flooded with offers from shows that last week wouldn't give her the time of day. She will be (again) the darling of the right who now have a whole new story line to trumpet about this has-been. And the sheep run out to buy her awful pointless book.

I imagine her "Q" rating doubled or tripled last night.

I don't think she has been or ever will be a darling of the right. She was briefly noticed for being stupid and then she was forgotten until she acted stupid again. She's got a long way to go to get to Bachmann or Palin-esque frenzied attention. She's mildly amusing on a slow news day, but I doubt we're going to see much of the right championing for her support. She's far too insignificant and she knows it, which is why she's being so bratty.

UPDATE: Former U.S. Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell will not speak at a tea party event featuring former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin in Indianola, Iowa, this weekend, an organizer told Washington Wire.

“I made a mistake,” said Ken Crow, president of Tea Party of America. “I assumed there was an open slot and there wasn’t.”

Monday night, Mr. Crow told Washington Wire that Ms. O’Donnell would appear.

Tea Party of America’s cofounder, Charlie Gruschow, said the group withdrew Ms. O’Donnell’s after receiving numerous “emails from a lot of tea party folks that were very disappointed that she would be speaking.”

“We decided not to have her speak,” Mr. Gruschow said. “We felt it was in the best interest of the movement.”

She's a nobody who's trying to be a somebody and failing miserably. I'm sure she'll come up with more ridiculous things to do to get attention, but politically, she's probably gotten as far as she's going to go. She should go back into her Catholic advocacy work and defend the Pope. I mean, somebody in the US has to care about him, right?
