What a cast, though. I'll certainly see it.

I wouldn't know who they were suppose to be if they didn't tell me. Tobey Jones as Karl Rove looks sort of like him but Tobey is a small tiny guy. Rove is as big as a house. Who ever cast this film did a piss poor job. Will Ferrell would have made a more convincing Bush than Josh Brolin.

The best thing about this movie is the FAQ page on the IMDb:

"Why is Oliver Stone making a movie about President Bush during his lifetime?"

Because George Bush's entire presidency has been a matter of worldwide attention and because to many Americans and citizens of the world, George W Bush is already dead.

Well! That's ME told!

And Ioan Gruffudd as Tony Blair? What happened, was Michael Sheen too busy, or just not pretty enough for Oliver Stone?

I'm sorry, but this is going to be hilarious, either intentionally or unintentionally.

"You're not a Kennedy. You're a Bush! Act like one!"

It looks like it'll probably be a dark comedy with moments of drama. What do you guys think?

Big discussion on this on The View yesterday. Right after they showed the clip- Elisabeth called it slanted and propaganda and how she wouldn't see it. Whoopi chimed back in and asked her how did she know what the movie was about if she hadn't seen it yet! Then Whoopi told the audience to watch it for themself and THEN judge. Then Elisabeth said viewers should watch documentaries because they were more truthful. Whoopi then said a documentary tells the point of view of the filmaker and does not always constitue the truth. I just love Whoopi putting Elisabeth in her place!

A truthful documentary about George W. Bush would do him fewer favors than Oliver Stone's most demented fantasies.
