Taz - I agree - and the 'nutcase' part is atributable to religion.

Ironic, isn't it?

God, I hope I used 'ironic' correctly.

Now that I think about it, it's ironic that I use the term 'God'.

But I KNOW that's not correct, as irony depends on the condition of what's expected - and no one could ever 'expect' me to reference God - or 'a god' - whatever.

i think this guy was waiting to go off and if it wasn't liberals and gays this time it would have been the gubmint and blacks tomorrow.

i mean c'mon, who takes 76 shotgun shells with them? that right there says a lot about his state of mind. did he really think that he'd have time to re-load? at best he could get off 8 rounds before having to re-load. and it's not like he could just pop in a new magazine of ammo. he has to feed the shells in one by one. he was planning to be killed.

Taz, I think that the widely held belief that violence is the answer is held by nutcases and helps to breed more of them.

The things are completely intertwined. An unstable individual in a culture that places value on acting violently can increase(not cause or create) the possibility of the act actually being carried through.

I agree with papa, this man was off of it and the target could have been anyone in a likely large pool of "hated" groups.
