But isn't gluttony one of the 7 Deadly Sins?

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

I take great offense to the concept that the decision concerning Schiavo was 'Hitleresque'. While it may provide a different solution if you accept a god-centric view of reality, it is no less viable to approach the situation (indeed, all of life) from a secular humanist standpoint. The path chosen for her was made based on rational and thoughtful analysis of what was observable and understandable from a perspective of individual freedom.

Just because some people make the choice to have a foundation based on Christian dogma does NOT mean that a decision made based on alternative existential thought is inherrently evil - and the implication is insulting.

Alabama Shakespeare Festival is doing "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof". Might be interesting to take a trip down there and see if they are having any after-show talks.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

UPDATE....UPDATE

Editor's Note: When the time for the vote in the legislature came there were not enough state legislators present for the vote, so the measure died automatically

FREEDOM WINS!

It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story... AGATHA CHRISTIE, Life magazine, May 14, 1956

Too bad we can't get rid of the Republicans who sponsored this measure that easily.
