my hair color changes a lot.

i'm trying to caption the video, i just can't remember how. i had to listen to it with headphones to hear it
(which i highly recemend doing, not just cus what i'm saying is important, but because my voice is starting to sound a little like spencer reid's from criminal minds and i love it!)

An extremely moving one from the Broadway company of CHICAGO. I posted a whole thread about it on the main board, because it's Broadway, but it bears some discussion here.

They successfully connect anti-gay bullying with racial bullying and bullying fat kids and bullying boys who dance. And they also make the point that those of us who gravitate toward performing arts save ourselves with humor and working on our talent.

Both of those are traps that the video could have fallen into and ended up maudlin or sanctimonious. But the 7 minutes, dramatically using music, feels genuinely moving and triumphant in the end.

I finally saw that Joel Burns video (a friend had posted it on Facebook). Wow. Restores your faith that their are kind and decent people in the world--and that they can get elected to political office (in Texas, no less!).

The Joel Burns video was quite moving. I watched it at work a couple of days ago. The played a portion of it last night on World News Tonight, but one needs to see the the complete version to get the full impact of his message.
