The Kringazoid just got back from his 30 day boot camp! He's learned to listen better and his dog on dog aggression is slowly being helped. He just wanted to make sure his BWW fans knew he was doing okay.

Posted: 5/24/08 at 4:09pmI think he just looks pensive. He's thinking, "I know how to be a good boy, I know Daddy wants me to be a good boy, but WILL I be a good boy?"

Posted: 5/24/08 at 4:16pmIt was only 27 days, but yeah, it wasn't easy. The first few weeks were fine, but the last one was just terrible. Once he had an end date I couldn't get him home sooner. He had some serious issues that had to be addressed, but the rehab really seems to have helped.

Kringas got the training. The question is: Will Phyllis keep him trained?
Miss Holly was not Holly Golightly when we got her. Her name was Harley Davidson, because she was the "fastest in the litter," and she had the personality of a Biker's Bitch. (Well, a Biker, actually.) She still does, on her bad days, which are frequent, but we keep her dark side under control.
Lots of "Down!" and "Stay!" and "Holly, no!"
It's up to you, not that cute little very, very, very bad boy.

PalJoey, believe me I know. Phyllis also went through some intensive training, not to mention paying a fortune for the rehab, and I have every intention of staying on top of him. We've done a lot of reinforcement training already today and he's really doing well. We were on a walk earlier and these ladies walked by and said, "Wow, you're dog is really well behaved." I said, "If you only knew!"
The funniest part of this experience was when I came to pick him up.
When I got there the dog guy had me watch him the through the window so the 'zoid couldn't see me. He sat, stayed, followed, even sat in one place while the guy walked the perimeter of his big long driveway. He even played well with two big labs. When I came out he started getting excited, so the guy had me go up to him and greet him and pet him and when he jumped up I said "off!" like I was told to. It was so funny to watch him recoil from me and look shocked and even funnier when he then turned his back to me, sat his butt down and put his nose up in the air. Scott said to him, "Yeah, you didn't expect that Daddy was going to change, too!"
At the end of the day, I think it's probably good that such a high-maintenance dog found me. I've got such as much to learn as he does.
