My mom's side of the family speaks Ladino. But they're from Bulgaria, so I guess that doesn't count, huh? Still, chances are I'm part Spanish from somewhere really far back.

Plummy, what's "Ladino"? Is that anything like Spanish, or is is a combination of Bulgarian and Latin?

I thought it was a combination fo Hebrew and Spanish? My music teacher said that so it's probably wrong.

Ladino is basically Jewish Spanish the way Yiddish is Jewish German.

Random but my stepfather is a 1/4 puerto Rican and 1/4 spanish. He doesn't speak any spanish though.
