I just found out my high school has been nominated to apply to attend this. Does anyone have any information? Has your school gone? How many schools are nominated? How likely is it my school will attend? Many thanks to anyone with insights!
Went last year, had a blast, it's a pretty incredible experience. I believe it's one from every state, but I'm not sure how many actually apply. There were some pretty awful shows there last year, so I don't know exactly what the standard is for applying or for getting in.
It does cost in the area of 4000 a person though, so just know that going into it. However, the school may cover some or your school might fundraise. But it still was a fantastic experience, saw some shows there, and the globe theatre was amazing We saw Comedy of Errors and it was absolutely great. We also performed Seussical so it was loads of fun.
Very cool! I'm not exactly sure how we got nominated. Did your school get nominated because of Seussical or did you just decide to bring that show after you found out you were going? The show we would probably bring is a four person one act so I'm not sure if that will hinder our chances of getting picked.
