Oh. My. God. Not much else to say here, kids, but...Oh. My. God.
Get a group of friends, indulge in some "blandishments", and when you are all feeling very happy watch this DVD. For some extra fun, keep a checklist as to how many times someone says "What the f*#k???"
Has anyone else seen this crap-tacular movie musical?

Posted: 5/15/05 at 2:08amI thought I was the only one who had heard of it! I've not actually seen it, but back in the day when I was a regular at the Rocky Horror Picture Show, they would always show previews for "The Apple" and other random movies.

But what about Brian DePalma's PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE (1974)? Paul Williams wrote the songs and plays the evil entrepreneur who steals music from a young composer. The composer chases after Williams and ends up getting his face melted off in a record press. He becomes the Phantom, haunting the Paradise rock club Instead of a mask, he has a Darth Vaderesque helmet which disorts his voice so he sings just like... Paul Williams!
Coincidentally, Jessica Harper, who plays the Christine role, also played Janet in the flop ROCCKY HORROR sequel, SHOCK TREATMENT.
