Weez, Valerie Harper played Rhoda Morganstern on the Mary Tyler Moore show and later on her own show Rhoda.

Dollypop is explaining that a Valerie Harper is a famous TV actress, known in the States for her very good sitcom, RHODA, where the late Nancy Walker played her mother and Clorox Leachman was her landlady. She is now focusing on stage work.

As to why she looks so much like Patti LuPone in that picture, Dollypop is perplexed.

Schmerg_The_Impaler just walked to the library in the heavy snow... wearing ballet shoes and a thin trench coat. Which didn't seem too smart in retrospect, but now she has her college guide and her copy of Doctorow's "Ragtime."
