Having taxed everything imaginable ( except breathing - that is next ) our illustrious Mayor may be imposing a tax on cosmetic surgery. Another discussed is an increase in the hotel tax & a 10 cents a cup coffee tax. We are already the most heavily taxed location in America. Is it any wonder business want to steer clear of NY. Between obscenely high taxes, schools that turn out functional illiterates, being # 1 on the terrorist hit parade Mr Bloomberg continues to make sure people & businesses steer clear of NYC. You can not smoke ( empty ashtrays in a restaurant get you a $ 3 k fine), he is trying to shut down night life after 1 AM & is turning the City that never sleeps into a puritan village. We have the most draconian anti smoking laws in America but when he was caught at a gathering of many of his millionaire cronies who were smoking stogies, he claimed he did not see it. He also said "what was I supposed to call a cop? " He should call his smoke police . God forbid he should tell the municipal unions the cupboard is bare. Just stick it to the taxpayers. I am getting totally apolitical & will boycott the next mayoral election. They will not be content until they drive everyone out of the city
