Oh, what fun! I think I had a boner for IQ even back when I was seven....Martha Raye, Billy Barty, and a bunch of flying British teenage hippies! You need better telly than that???

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

LOVED this show!

My brother and I used to fight over what we watched on Saturday mornings. He wanted the animated travesty "Hot Wheels" (straight BASTARD), and I wanted the blithe, serene (totally drugged-out) Bugaloos. Our compromise was we alternated, so I only saw every other episode of the this show until recently when the DVD set came out.

Borstalboy---You DON'T want to take a look at IQ now... he looks like the Crypt Keeper. I wish I was joking. He pops up on an interview or two on the DVD set. It's truly sad what time and too much sun can do.

I love how in the interviews the actors are so sweet and embrace the chance they had to do the show. They have some really fun stories and are really down to earth. I only wish Martha and Billy had survived to give their take on this show. What a trip!

PEACE.

I was so excited when I saw the article in the NY Times on Sunday! I immediately started singing the theme song!

Oh, those Kroft cuties! I loved this show and Martha in particular. I kind of hated the costume for Barty...kind of weird.

We had so much trippy stuff on Saturday mornings!

I love the Sid Kroft quote: "I think we’d all like to leave it all behind, sprout wings and go live in a big fluffy cloud."

I know I would.

"The Bugaloos, The Bugaloos,
They're in the air and everywhere..."

That's right. Both in the air AND everywhere.

It came out 5/23, and I've been enjoying it very much (as well as HR Pufnstuf, Lidsville, etc...)
