(I searched and saw no mention of this)
Did anyone see this movie? It's a french film about an all-boys choir in the late 1940s and it is wonderful!
I was lucky enought to catch it on an international flight several months ago. I remember there were advertisements in the UK, but I don't know if much was said in the States.
Any other fans?
Something reminded me about it and now I want to go buy it!

Oh my god... Loved it. The singing scenes made me cry. It's a great film. I saw it at the Angelika in Dallas, TX a few months ago.
I've been looking to buy it, but haven't found it anywhere.
Millie, you've got good tastes.

Thanks!
That boy's voice is INCREDIBLE. So pure.
I swear I saw it for sale at Tower a few weeks ago... but I am one of those people that just cannot afford $26 for a DVD. Maybe ebay or half.com?

I also loved this movie! Potential Spoliers below...
I loved that they didn't have everyone in the film's storyline have a happy ending. Even though it was very sad, I was kind of glad Mathieu didn't end up w/ the boy's mother, and I'm especially glad that scary redhead didn't pull a miraculous 180 and be a charming, newly reformed member of the chorus. It was enough that Pierre was able to break through his delinquent ways and embrace his gift.
