What in the fresh hell is this? I've heard the book is good, and the coming attractions of the movie looked pretty decent. But I can't fathom seeing it with his name attached to it.

Has someone been fighting to deny Rick Santorum his rights again?

A shame to see that stain on an Xmas film.

I was hoping for a frothy holiday comedy.

the New York Daily News saying: "This odd Dickens-meets-Sunday-school movie is as artless as the setup is muddled", while the New York Post judged: "This throwback, made-for-TV-style film takes the easy way out in a cheesy climax, but its resolute quaintness may appeal to the kind of viewers who regard electricity as disturbingly newfangled." The Arizona Republic called it "resolutely stiff and hollow".

With a quote like this:

but its resolute quaintness may appeal to the kind of viewers who regard electricity as disturbingly newfangled

After Eight should have a new holiday classic to embrace.

It was great seeing Santorum ruthlessly mocked when he went on The Colbert Report to promote his crappy movie.

Those reviews could apply to virtually every Christmas movie shown on ABC Family and Hallmark at this time of year.

Perhaps, but they don't.

They refer explicitly to Santorum's piece of excrement movie.

Your point is very storm-esque and equally inconsequential.

Well, since you're so excited about it, it's best you have your way. I'll be skipping it, as I do all those garbage movies.

Excited about it? I'm reveling in the fact that its awful.

I wouldn't spend my time watching it if you paid me.

Not all Christmas movies are terrible. One of my friends wrote HELP FOR THE HOLIDAYS for Hallmark, and according to him, it was the highest rated Hallmark film ever. I did a quick Google search, but I could only find stuff on IMDb. There was one critic review, but the writer did admit to marrying the lead.

Won't the idiotic Tea Baggers just claim ANY BAD REVIEWS are coming from the 'lamestream liberal media' like they do with any news story they don't like? This movie looks just terrible. However, there are others that look just as bad. Check out this one. It could have easily been produced and written by Rick Santorum.

(I love the how the narrator starts naming the cast of actors as if everyone knows WTF these people are)

I loved Santorum on Colbert, saying he wanted to go back to the old-fashioned, traditional filmmaking that we just don't see today.

You mean before talent?

Another dud. This one by the Liberty Counsel and not Rick Santorum.Scroll down to see the trailer but I warn you. It's pretty bad.
