My Dad use to LOVE this show. He would quote things Chuck Barris would say and do the dance and everything. I am going to HAVE TO send this to Chuck.I wonder if THE GONG SHOW MOVIE is on dvd.This would make him a GREAT Father's Day gift.Thanks SO MUCH for posting this!

The Gong Show always creeped me out. And watching those clips, it still does. How on earth did the Popsicle Twins get on the air? It seems inconceivable in a post-wardrobe malfunction America.

Yes it was creepy, and funny at the same time. There are things I will always remember like the one guy who would impersonate cooking bacon. I always got a full body restless leg syndrome watching Barris.

My Dad and I used to drive Mom crazy by dancing Gene Gene the Dancing machine all over the house... ( my Dad was in vaueville, as a boy) and loved this show, somehow!? We were kids and thought it was just fun We were so tired of the "legit" talent shows. Sooo boring......
