The Curious Savage hair and costume ideas

Hello everyone. My high school is doing a production of 'The Curious Savage' and I was cast as Mrs. Ethel Savage.

Now for anyone who knows the show, Mrs. Savage has old lady blue hair. This poses a problem. We really don't want to use a wig, so we're looking for chemical options to dye my hair. I have black/brown hair that I'm willing to dye any kind of 'crazy' color. (i.e. bright red, the black with a white stripe in it... purple, black blue, anything that isn't conventional) as long as it's not that permanent... and it will work on my hair. Any kinds of hair dye, would be most helpful.

Second is a costume. I've made Ethel sort of Aristocratic, so I want something very outrageous, and galant, and just glamourous, that of course would have been suitable for a woman in her 50's and 60's in the 1950's.

She actually doesnt have ‘“old lady” blue hair. She has dyed her hair many colors and now it is bright blue. She also dresses “young” to shock people.
