Posted: 3/24/12 at 10:56amExcited about seeing it tonight. Love Terence Davies and the film and Rachel Weisz are getting great reviews. Scott was glowing in the Times. Surprised - but delighted - this was released in the doldrums of March moviegoing. Anyone seen it yet?

Haven't seen it but can not wait to.
Terence Davies is one of the most underrated directors alive. Shame he works so sporadically.
This was released in England last year to much acclaim. They were originally going to push for some Oscar love over here, don't know why it was pulled from the schedule and moved.

Posted: 7/2/12 at 7:37pmIt barely got any sort of release--even in the major N American markets it seems. I saw it at a film fest here in Victoria about 6 weeks back, and *loved* it. Didn't know the play, but I think it was as good as Davies' adaptation of House of Mirth--really beautiful.
