well, this guy from Texas pretty much documented most of his life on camera and it's rather amazing.
His mother was misdiagnosed and her parents allowed her to have shock therapy which screwed her up.
I don't want to say much more because it's rather amazing and you should watch it.

yeah, he's from here in Houston, and the movie showed here a while but i was so busy then i didn't get to catch it on the big screen. Can't wait to get the DVD. He got a lot of coverage nationally, maybe more focused here because of his origins as a club kid in the various dance bars here.
Will: They don't give out awards for helping people be gay... unless you count the Tonys.
