Azamzing, huh?
Got it on the DVR. Burns has been hit and miss for me lately (didn't really like his WWII doc and his sequel to Baseball felt rushed, unfocused, and worst of all, revisionist in terms of history). Glad to hear there are raves for this and I did like the Prohibition one he did not long ago.

Also recorded but haven't had the chance to watch it yet. I'm excited to see The Central Park 5 too.

The thought that we are using water to grow corn to put in our gas tanks today when there may not be drinking water in the midwest in 50 years is pretty depressing and short-sighted. This is one of Ken Burns's best since THE CIVIL WAR, in my opinion.

One of the experts they interview is Timothy Egan whose book "The Worst Hard Time" I highly recommend. The documentary is basically the book come to life.

I hear Julie Taymor is working with Radiohead on a Broadway musical version. Patti Lupone was BORN to play the Dust Storm.
