Want to skip ahead to 10%, 20%, 80% of the way through whatever YouTube video your college roommate sent you? Google made a shortcut that takes you there with the push of a button. Here's how:
Once you've paused your video of choice, type 1 to skip to 10% in, 2 for 20%, 3 for 30%, and so on. That's it!

It says you can fast forward or rewind with "surgical precision" but isn't that only if you want to get to precisely to a point that's 10%, 20%, etc in?

I think this is useful, though I wouldn't go so far as surgical precision.
On my laptops, if I drag the little button thing over, I have two wait for the video to catch up, which can take several seconds--and sometimes just causes the video to freeze.
I tried this method just now, and it works. But no, not surgically.

Posted: 10/27/10 at 12:30pmI went with a 64 bit operating system simply because I was naive and I didn't do research on 64 bit before purchasing. I've regretted my decision ever since.
