So I decided to suck up my fear of the HUGE words in this book and try it out. I'm usually good with vocab words, but this is hard. Actually, I had to read a sentance 5 times, then look up definitions to truly understand it. And that was one sentance.

However, I hear it's an amazing book, better than the movie, so I figure, if it takes me some time but it's really great in the end, then it's worth it.

How here has read it? What do you think?

p.s. I fully lied. The book is called "The Essential John Nash", I got confused with "A BEautiful Mind" book. But in my previous post, I'm refering to The Essential John Nash.

I liked the book better than the movie, which was alright but mostly carried by Russell Crowe. I actually thought the author did a pretty good job of explaining the math, much of which was completely over my head.

That's true. Do you mean A Beautiful Mind or The Essential John Nash? I had a mis-post, but I did read A Beautiful Mind so either way...

Oh okay. Well in that case, you're right, they did a good job explaining the math. And yes, it is better than the movie.

p.s. on a side note, I was surprised to find out that Russell Crowe actually didn't win the Oscar for that movie. I love Denzel, but I thought Russel deserved it for this movie.

I thought this thread was about the English architect, John Nash.

How dumb of me.
