He did a Q&A at a screening I was at for Young Adam a couple of years ago. Very entertaining.

Afterward, he was standing in the small lobby area of the theater near the bathroom I was trying to get to. He was in the way, as a matter of fact. There was no one really around him talking to him. I had an easy chance to go up and say anything I wanted. What did I say? "Thank you very much," and then I looked toward the bathroom and said, "Excuse me". Gah! I could have talked to him about anything and all I wanted to do was go to the bathroom!

Actually, I'm pretty tenacious. If I'd really wanted to, I'd have stood around there and waited my turn.

His hair was pretty long and standing up and pointed every which way. Had dark framed, almost Buddy Holly glasses on over amazing blue eyes. He flashed a brilliant smile when I thanked him and he said, "Your welcome".

You should! It's a bit odd...in that Ewan sort of way if you know what I mean. He plays an erotic Scottish poet...he basically falls in love with a prostitue type and you know, its tough but they're all in love and he sends her erotic poetry and such..but his performance is great and he sings!

Oh my goodness, Sally, you're going to get me all obsessed again!! I got over this a few years ago! I saw every movie my local rental place had of his, and even kept a Powerpoint presentation going, with favourite pictures from each movie. UGH!

You probably already know about this site, but in case you don't, here's a link. It's how I stay up-to-date on all things Ewan related. Latest news: Disney drops Gnomeo and Juliet (which made me sad... it sounds cute, and I also love Kate Winslet), and there will be no cast recording of Guys and Dolls. *sobs*

Not having a terribly good year with Guys and Dolls, bad reviews for the new film, and the Michael Bay pic flopping, BUT whip that thang out and I'll be watchin'!

There was an article in Out magazine about when he was doing a love scene with another man, and I quote "I just couldn't have gone on that way with a woman. It was fantastic!" I know I vowed never ever to type this, but OMFG!
and... just for some ...um research, what movies have Ewan done where little Ewan makes an appearance?
