I'm going to see this tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has already seen it and has thoughts? The reviews I've read seem to say Benedict Cumberbatch and Daniel Bruhl are phenomenal but the movie itself is underwhelming. Thoughts?
Edit: Just got back, and it was pretty much what I expected. The cast was excellent across the board, but Bruhl and Cumberbatch were practically awards-caliber in my opinion. The story itself, however, felt a little detached; I found it hard to genuinely connect. It also seemed that the film came very close to really looking at some significant and serious issues, but then copped out at the last minute. Overall, decent movie but not great.
