I've been hooked since it's been on, but I've had to decrease my viewing time, because it always made me hungry. I miss Sara Molton and her show as well as Mario Batali before he got to be a big name (though I HATED his tour of Italy)...
I'm not a fan of Emeril.
I do like Iron Chef, both for the dubbed translating which are hysterical and to see the ingredient that has to be used and the dishes that ultimately come up. Though I have often wondered how many tens of thousands of dollars the abalone battle has cost (and how I wish I could have been on the panel)...
Bobby Flay's BBQ special had me craving BBQ all summer long.

I really can't wait for FOOD 911 and TYLER'S ULTIMATE to resume after their summer hiatus.
Tyler, where art thou?

I love the Food Network! I could watch $40 a Day and Iron Chef all day long.
Oh and Dollypop, Tyler is definitely my fave chef as well! :)

30 Minute Meals and Food 911 are the shiznit. Last summer, THE FOOD NETWORK was all that I watched. It is so addicting..........like this board, but the board is more delicious.

Whenever my brother isn't watching cartoons and my sister isn't watching idiot teen soaps, Food Network is the daytime background noise at our house, because it's my mom's addiction. She adores Sarah Moulton.
On, and I want nothing more than to see Rachel Ray having one bad day. She's just way too happy for my taste.

I'm very serious Millie. It's a true statement.
I like mostly everything except Emeril. Also, Bobby Flay pisses me off and I don't know why--anyone agree?

I'm not a big Bobby fan either but only because I thought he was so pompous during that international Iron Chef competition.
I'm also not a fan of the bbq either so... :P

I really cant believe the beautiful talented woman that is Stephanie March (of Law & Order: SVU fame) went and left the show to marry that disgusting little troll Bobby Flay. Everytime I see him, or her on the Food Network, I throwup a little in my mouth...
I'm so tired right now, and I'm ranting...I need to SLEEP!!!

" I HATE EMERIL. AND HIS AUDIENCE. They act like they've never heard of garlic before, like it's some strange undiscovered herb that they MUST applaud. "
Totally agreed! I can't stand his show!
But other than that i LOVE the food network
And i heard this said somewhere before "We wonder why the United States is so obesce; we have a whole channel dedicated to food for crying out loud!" I paraphrased that if you couldn't tell.

I was just going to post about Ina (Barefot COntessa) -- I want to be her friend -- I have made many of her meals -- simple and delicious and my other favorite is Paula Dean -- bless her heart a real southern woman --she really has some great lines.
Basically I watch this all moring on Saturday and Sunday -- even th eshows that irritate me (Semi home -- Sandra needs to learn a word other than fantastic).
And of course -- I want me some Tyler!
