The Fourth Wall

I have been thinking about buying the book of actors' photographs called THE FOURTH WALL. Before I plunk down $30+, I would love to know if anyone owns it and can recommend it?

I own it. I love it. There's not as much variety in the locations as there could have been, but the photographs themselves are gorgeous nonetheless. If you buy this book, you're only really buying it for the photos. Some of the featured actors write paragraphs about their show, but not all of them. Mind you, the amusement I got out of John Patrick Shanley's introduction more than made up for the fact there wasn't as much text as I would have liked. XD

I got it for something like £20 ($40?), and was happy with that. ^_^ I also laughed at how many times Michael Cerveris managed to sneak in. re: The Fourth Wall

Thanks, weez. Can't have too many Cerveris photos, I always say.

Tell us more about the book, Keen! (You have such great taste in books, I think.)

This is the Amy Arbus book, right? I looked through it last time I was in Barnes and Noble, and I have to say it's gorgeous. There's not much to really read in it, but the photos are fabulous and full-size. Many of them are on her website, but there were quite a few pleasant surprises in the book. I'm not in the position to cough up $50 for a coffee table book at the moment, but I definitely want to buy it at some point.
